Commission tracking for insurance agencies
Shared agency data, separate advisor access. Check every payout, split commission between agency, advisor and mentor, and settle the month without rebuilding spreadsheets by hand.
What agency managers get
One shared data source, separate views
The agency connects its spreadsheets once. Every advisor sees only the policies and payouts assigned to their own name, while managers can switch between the whole team and a single advisor.
Commission splits per insurer and product
Set the split between agency, advisor and mentor for each commission rule. A mentor can support several advisors and sees their own share without access to the advisors' clients.
Every payout checked automatically
Expected commission is compared against what the insurer actually paid. Missing, late and incorrect payments are flagged instead of being discovered months later.
Advisor comparison and realization
Compare policies, expected commission, paid commission and realization per advisor, by insurer and by month — and export a settlement file for payroll.
No migration project
Your policy and commission records stay in Google Sheets. Nothing has to be re-entered and your existing structure keeps working.
Access control by role
Agency owner, agency admin and advisor each have their own level of access. Advisors can never see another advisor's book of business.
How setup works
- 1
Create the agency
The owner creates the agency and connects the policy and commission spreadsheets.
- 2
Invite the team
Invite advisors by email and assign the advisor names used in your spreadsheets to each member.
- 3
Set the splits
Define commission rules per insurer and product, then the agency / advisor / mentor split for each member.
- 4
Track and settle
Follow discrepancies, realization and advisor performance, and export the monthly settlement.
Frequently asked questions
Can an advisor see other advisors' commissions?
No. Data is filtered by the advisor names assigned to each member, so an advisor only ever sees their own policies, clients and payouts. Only the agency owner and agency admins can view the whole team.
How is the commission split between agency, advisor and mentor?
You first define the commission rule for an insurer and product, then set the share for the advisor, their mentor and the agency. The three shares always add up to 100 percent, and each member can have different shares per rule.
Do we have to move our data out of Google Sheets?
No. Commission Clarity reads the spreadsheets the agency already keeps. The advisor column in each row is what makes per-advisor access possible.
How many seats are included?
Agency plans include a set number of seats, with additional seats billed per member. Current seat counts and prices are on the pricing page.
