1. About the Application
Commission Clarity (hereinafter: "the app") is a tool for calculating and monitoring commissions for insurance advisors. The app functions as a calculator that computes expected commissions based on user-defined parameters and compares them with actual received amounts.
2. Personal Data Processing
The app does NOT store any client data, amounts, or commissions.
The app does not save, process, or have access to personal data of clients (insured persons), commission amounts, payment methods, or other sensitive business data. Furthermore, the app does not store commission rules, payout schedules, or calculation parameters in its database – it reads all this data directly from the user's Google Sheets documents on each load.
All data about policies, clients, commissions, and payout rules remain exclusively in the user's Google Sheets documents, which are owned and controlled by the user. The app accesses these documents only when the user actively uses its features, and does not copy, archive, or store data on its servers.
Manual status changes and comments are written directly to the user's Google Sheets document. The app does not store this data in its database – it re-reads it from the user's document on each use.
The app permanently stores only:
- IDs of connected Google Sheets documents
- Authorization tokens for Google Sheets API access
3. How It Works – Calculations
The app functions exclusively as a computational tool. Based on entered parameters (insurer, product, calculation method, value, duration, etc.), the app calculates expected commissions and compares them with actual data from the user's documents.
The app does not make decisions on behalf of the user, does not send data to third parties, and does not perform any transactions.
4. User Responsibility
The user is fully responsible for:
- Protecting their Google account – including using a strong password, two-factor authentication (2FA), and regularly checking security settings.
- Preventing unauthorized access – the user must ensure that unauthorized persons do not have access to their Google account and devices.
- Accuracy of entered data – the app calculates exclusively based on user-entered data. The provider is not responsible for incorrect calculations resulting from incorrectly entered data.
- Managing access permissions to Google Sheets documents – the user determines who has access to their spreadsheets.
- Legal compliance – the user is responsible for compliance with applicable data protection legislation (GDPR).

5. Security Measures
The app provides the following security measures:
- Sign-in uses an email address and a secure sign-in link; the app never stores your password.
- Google Sheets access uses a separate authorization flow with limited permissions (read-only).
- All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
- Authorization tokens are stored in a secure database with access restrictions (RLS policies).
- The app does not share data with third parties.
6. User Rights
The user has the right to at any time:
- Disconnect the app from their Google Sheets documents.
- Revoke the app's access to their Google account in Google account settings.
- Request deletion of all data stored in the app (rules, settings, tokens).
- Stop using the app without any obligations.
7. Subscription and Payment
Access to the app requires an active subscription. Individual plans are available in two billing intervals:
- Client Hub or Commission Monitor – €20.00 per month or €200.00 per year.
- Combo (both together) – €30.00 per month or €300.00 per year.
All subscriptions are commitment-free and can be cancelled at any time; annual billing is cheaper than monthly.
Payment is processed through the secure Stripe payment system. The subscription automatically renews at the end of the billing period unless the user cancels it beforehand.
The user can manage their subscription (change plan, cancel, change payment method) on the My Account page within the app.
Upon cancellation, the user retains access until the end of the already paid billing period. After the subscription expires, access to the app's features is disabled, but stored data (rules, settings) is preserved for potential reactivation.
7a. Trial Period
With the first subscription, the user is entitled to a 14-day free trial period. During this time, all app features can be used without restrictions.
Each user can use the trial period up to twice. After both trial periods are used, further free trial periods are not available – a paid subscription is required to continue.
After the trial period ends, the subscription automatically continues at the selected billing interval (monthly or annual) unless the user cancels it beforehand.
8. Limitation of Liability
The app provider is not responsible for any damage resulting from:
- Unauthorized access to the user's Google account.
- Incorrectly entered data or parameters by the user.
- Temporary unavailability of the Google Sheets API or other external services.
- Decisions made based on the app's calculations.
